Questions?

We’ve Got Answers.

r 1

This exam is different from any exam you’ve taken before. Being “high risk” simply means that if your risk factors are there and you approach it like the other exams you’ve taken, the odds aren’t going to be in your favor. If you change your approach, though, you’ll be happier because you have a plan that makes sense, and you will pass. That includes focusing on 3 key pillars of board success and having them work together: a manageable core study system, explicit test-taking strategy training, and strong structure and accountability.

That’s why we built the VIP Bundle as “a complete system for high-risk test takers trying to pass the pediatric boards”

If you’re high risk, VIP isn’t “extra.” It’s the safest way to stop gambling with this exam. It combines every core PBR resource, our online test-taking strategy course, Deep Study and Mastering Board Exams lectures, personalized study schedules, and our Live Test-Taking Strategies & Deep Study Course with “one-on-one coaching to help you pass the boards”.

For high-risk pediatricians and repeat test takers, anything less usually means hoping for success, then kicking themselves later. We’ve seen it time and time again.

Absolutely. You’re not alone, and you’re not doomed. Most repeat failures have more to do with the system, strategy, and approach than with intelligence. In the Failed Pediatric Boards guide, I (Ashish Goyal) walk you through the most common mistakes and “a step-by-step plan that’s helped repeat test takers finally pass after multiple attempts”.

More hours and more question banks don’t fix the wrong system. Common patterns include using too many resources, studying from questions instead of a core system, weak test-taking strategy, lack of repetition, and unstructured or burned-out studying.
The “Failed Pediatric Boards article” breaks these down and shows how to correct them so your next attempt isn’t just “more of the same.”

You need fewer resources, deeper passes, real test-taking strategy, and a structured plan that gives you “the formula.” That’s why the VIP system includes a curated set of PBR resources, live instruction on building strong test-taking strategies through a workshop-like experience, and Deep Study lectures to help rewire how you prepare and turn shallow studying into deep studying.

It’s not that much. That’s the great thing about it. It’s just high value. Once you have the right understanding of exactly how to use a system, you can do it without guessing. Once you know exactly how to process board-style questions, you can use that system on every board-style question you come across. That’s leverage, and it actually saves you time. Structure turns “I’ll try to study” into “Here’s exactly what I’ll do today.” Test-taking strategy turns “I’m stuck between two answers again!” into “I can’t believe I got that right even though I’m weak in that area.” Skipping these supports means you’re comfortable gambling with your result.

It depends, but we’ll give you a rough number. What matters even more than the number of hours is how those hours are used, when you start studying, how many repetitions of the material you do, and whether your plan is realistic. We guide you on all of this in the beginning so you don’t waste time and miss your targets. As a high-risk test taker, you should plan for at least 500 hours of focused, structured prep, spread over weeks to months rather than crammed into the last few weeks. Depending on your personal factors, more hours may make sense, and less would rarely be appropriate.

It depends, but in many cases, yes. Once we have a clear understanding of your past and present barriers, we can guide you through the one-on-one coaching done in the Live Test-Taking Strategies & Deep Study Course. You’ll get honest, realistic guidance to help you decide how you want to move forward.
